Civil servants in Jigawa State have been advised to ensure good participation in the ongoing staff verification exercise in the state.
Governor Malam Umar Namadi of the state gave the advice at the launching of the exercise in government House Dutse.
He said the exercise was meant to have an accurate record for staff of the state, local government and local education authorities.
Malam Umar Namadi explained that the government has no intention to witch-hunt or disengage workers from service.
He therefore called on the state and local government workers to give all necessary support and cooperation for the smooth conduct of the exercise.
Earlier the State Commissioner for Finance Professor Hannatu Sabo Muhammed said five centres have been created for the verification exercise of the staff of Ministries, Agencies and Departments.
She added that the exercise will be conducted by an expert firm, Integrated Pay Roll and Personnel Management System the Prime Guage Solution.
Also speaking the Chief Executive Officer of Prime Guage Solution Alhaji Hassan Maaruf urged Civil Servants to come for the verification along with their Employment Letter, Last Promotion, Bank Verification Number, National Identification Number and other office identification number.
